I'm sure most people have seen the new trailers online for finalfantasy vs XIII... I really can't wait for the game to come out hopfeully next year.

Anyways thought I post up my cosplay of Storm (if that so be his random name - which he doesn't actually have)

I made this and wore it to wai-con on the saturday and was part of a wonderfully random backstreet boys skit with and Jill (who is not currently on DA).

Costume Debriefing:
You really can't get enough of pleather when it came to his outfit.

Top : I used a special vinyl to create the patterns on the jacket around the shoulders and the back and then ironed it on....the shitty bit about it was because the design itself has sticthes I had to intricately sew around the edges of the fire like pattern...it got on my nerves after a while but I liked the end results :3...Funny thing about this jacket is it kinda zips up into a ummm dress lol... coz of the lenght

Pants: I have now made PANTALOOONNSSSS!!! OMG....mindboggling...thier awefully strange but dran comfortable to wear lol....air cushion pants when u sit. I swear Squeeenix has an obsession with bubble pants.

Bags: Spent about $60 buying 3/4 m worth of real leather from the local leather shop (freakin expensive) to make his three waist pouches... It's the first time I've ever made bags....I used one of my mum's handbags as a reference to create the belt buckle straps....I'm currently using them with my everyday wear...I didn't realise how convinent they would become :3..

Gloves : Made thoes too...my first pair and I have to admit I HATE making gloves thier evil espacially the fingers...although gloves are hawt depending on the design but still ...teh evillss...

Shoes : I bought thoes at a goth shop in fremantle for $190 probably the most expensive pair of shoes I ever purchased.

Hair/Wig : This picutre is the mark 2 version of the wig...the version I did to the con...was rather flat so for the follow up shoot I cut it a little shorter and manage to spike it up higher....I wore this wig to work and people thought it was my real hair colour.....@_@

Weapon : A big thanks goes to my friend who helped me with the weapon. The drafting/scaling of the blade of the sword and the craving/engraving of it out of pine wood was done by me. The esembaling of the motorparts which were make of kitchen utensils(cookie cutters) and reticulation parts + PVC pipes and the Blue LED light tube was done by her. (Yes the weapon actually glows - I have yet to take a night shot with this). The paint job of the overall weapon was done by me with metallic paints.

And before I forget to thank and her cousin Emma for taking the photos that day....Thanks guys ^_^v I still remember the random lady screaming "Ohayou gozaimasu" as I was standing on the long flight of stairs of the Perth concert hall...LOL

The con was heaps of fun this year...I will post up my other costume I wore on the sunday but I have to get an okay on photos from my friends cause I didn't take any.
